To some of you this might sound dumb, but you have to change the air filter for your A/C / Heater. This is a very simple, yet very important part of the maintenance for your unit. Letting one cake up with too much dust can cause expensive repairs. It also makes your unit work harder, therefore using more electricity. And with it being in the middle of summer, you want to help out your system as much as you can.

Well it is day two of my GoFundMe campaign and I have my first donation. Help me keep the momentum going and donate to my campaign to help fund this website and all the YouTube channels that go with it. Every donation is appreciated, no matter the size, because every little bit helps. And please share my campaign with others. I need help to get this going so that I can help others and inspire their creativity. Thank You and God Bless. www.gofundme.com/2a5ewsc
That's right, I am taking the jump. Well, I am trying to anyways. I want to be able to make higher quality videos, and more of them. But that requires time. So, to be able to do that I have started a GoFundMe campaign. It's definitely not heart-wrenching like someone that has a deadly disease, but I am not asking for a hand out like that person that wanted to get their pool refinished. Your donations put me to work making more video "how to's", more product reviews, more DIY, more local videos, more cooking videos, and more entertainment. So, if you would, click on my picture and that will take you to the GoFundMe page. At least check it out. Even small donations will make a difference. Then please share it so that others have a chance to give.
Thank You in advance. In my last blog entry I gave you cooking videos about summer cooking. I show in those videos that you don't have to be a grill master to enjoy some of America's favorite summer foods. But, maybe you want to become a grill master. And to do that you need a grill. Here is my review of the grill that I have enjoyed using for the past year. Not everyone is a master grill master, but that doesn't mean that the rest of us need to give up and eat microwave dinners. Even some of the simplest changes can give a meal a whole new feel. Starting off with quality ingredients is the first step.
Some of the most basic skills for diy/home improvement projects are overlooked. Most are not taught in traditional schools and for professionals it is so basic that it is almost felt that you should have been born with it like instinct. So I can understand that asking how to do some of these very basic things can be intimidating, fearing that you have the intelligence of a toddler if you don't know how. Simply put, if you were never taught, then you were never taught. That doesn't make you stupid. I have started making some videos showing the very basics, starting with this one. How to read a tape measure.
What am I talking about this time? I am talking about the damage inside your walls, or the possibility of it. And since our smartphones don't come with x-ray apps yet we need another way to look inside the wall. Traditionally if it was felt that there was damage inside your wall, the only way to find out was to cut a section of the drywall out and take a look. If it was damaged, let's say by water, and there was mold, rot, or both then you did a good thing. But if you guessed wrong now you have to replace the section of drywall that you cut out, refinish it, texture it, and paint it. There is now a better way, well actually it has been around for a while, but it has not been affordable for the average person. Here I give my review for the Rigid Inspection Camera which at the time of this writing retails for $100. When you only have to drill a 1/2" hole in the wall for the camera to fit in you can find out a lot of what's going on inside and then you can spackle the hole up and a little touch paint and you are done. Ok, so springtime brings out the birds and the bees. It also brings the ants, and more ants. I get asked a lot what it the best way to stop them. Not only that, but a better way then just spraying a poison all over the house where kids and pets can get to it. I really like the Terro liquid ant baits for those reasons. You don't have to openly spray poison and ants are actually attracted to it, unlike the other ant baits I'm sure you have used. Here is my video review of the product, and I show you how to set it. Believe it or not I'm a Grandpa. Yes, that's right, at the ripe old age of 38. It's all good though, and now I get to share a whole new set of product reviews with all of you. As we get new baby gear, I will do my best to give you reviews of the products we use.
