The EGO String Trimmer Has Surpassed Expectations.

For those of you interested in going cordless and gasless for your yard equipment then look no further. The EGO line of yard equipment has everything that you are looking for.  Professional strength outdoor equipment and batteries strong enough to keep up. The EGO company has re-designed the battery pack. Instead of just using an over-sized drill pack, they lined the cells in parallel

rows with heat dispensing material in-between them. Add in an advanced venting system and you have the EGO Power Plus 56 volt system. I was sent the EGO string trimmer to demo about a month ago and have been impressed every step of the way. From the initial quality of the tool to the constant tests that it surpassed, I have been ever impressed with their line of
tools. First I tested the strength of the trimmer. I wanted to see if it could cut long, thick, wet grass. And it took it on like a champ. It basically whooped my gas unit. Now I didn't have a commercial grade unit, but I did have a standard homeowners trimmer and the EGO trimmer definitely bested it. Then the real test had to happen. Could it last? Anything can be strong for a couple of minutes, but could it last for the
entire yard? How about 2 yards. Well the EGO Power Plus String Trimmer with the 2.5 Ah battery did just that. I couldn't believe it either. I know some people that have tried older cordless weed eaters that wouldn't even last ten minutes. But this isn't your mother's weed eater. Check out my endurance test and see for yourself....
