Time For Some New Yard Equipment?

I'm here to talk about your yard equipment. A change is coming to how we take care of our yards. Just about everything that we use is going cordless, so why not our yard equipment? I know some of you are thinking of those cheap Black & Decker cordless weed eaters with their heavy battery packs that just don't last long at all. If you really kept up with your yard and you had 3 batteries you could go without stopping. It felt like something your kids should be using, but at least you didn't have to string a cord out.

We have professional power tools, cell phones that can do everything and have batteries that last, so why can't we have yard equipment that can do the same. Well, now you can. EGO with their power plus line of 56v powered equipment gives you the best of both worlds. You get the power of gas with the convenience and cleanness of electric. EGO graciously sent me their string trimmer to demo for my viewers and here are the first
videos showing the unboxing, assembly, and how to work their rapid reload trimmer head. I will have more videos to come showing my first use of this trimmer, along with head to head competitions against my standard gas trimmer.  Some of you might be thinking, what makes the EGO line different from all the other new cordless lines coming out. Well, that would be do to their battery technology. Everything else that I have seen
Is just using the same batteries that go on their cordless drills, or maybe a larger version of that. After taking one look at their batteries you can tell that they started from the ground up on them. First of all take a look at the shape. They have a concaved design to them, more then just a block. There are also vents on the top and bottom of the outer shell to make sure that the heat can dissapate

out of the cells. They even run the cells differently and surround them with Cool Cell material that pushes heat out. What does this all mean? Better batter life, and isn't that what it's all about. You can check out their website for more info.  So, before you get your next set of power yard tools, I suggest you take a look at the EGO line to see how it can benefit you.
